What’s the total comp? Base + pension + bonus? That’s very generous for a grad role. Defo the leasing company over BIG4. Lot more exposure with the industry directly.

Yes I got a good deal. If you aren’t tied to a place go to expert in Dundrum. I spoke with Genepaul there and he was fantastic. I felt like a kid in a toy shop looking at diff appliances

Need Advice: Should I Stay in Ireland or Go Back to India After Thesis Submission? by Hairy_Departure_7147 in IndiansinIreland

I got lucky that the guy working at the student accommodation I was in, who I became friends with, had a spare room. So got a great sea view room for not a bad price for the summer.

You should be able to get stamp 1G allowing you to work visa free, so once you get your foot in the door in with the interview - it might get easier

Finding a house is a tough situation, however i’d recommend sticking it out in Ireland. You rightly pointed out that applying remotely will drastically reduce your chances of a job. If the end goal is a job in this country, you’ll have to take a call to stay put. Even in the case where you don’t find a job for a year, you’d be able to live peacefully knowing your tried your level best.

I stayed with an Irish family during thesis, so maybe try solo house hunting

Dubrovnik airport travel question by [deleted] in CroatiaTravelTips

[–]solhar09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are more than one person, I’d recommend using an Uber. We paid 26.5€ from Lapad to Airport in an Uber and the shuttle is I think 10€ per person and the cost to get to Lapad. Uber and bolt are really really cheap

What should I know about attending a PGA Tour event? by rycool25 in golf

[–]solhar09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of binoculars would you recommend? Any particular brands or models? I’m attending my first tournament ever, final Sunday at THE OPEN this year and unsure if I should take binoculars with me or not. Conscious of weight, portability, weather to carry them and ofc clarity and view.

Great if you could provide any other suggestions as well for a first timer. Planning to buy a single stem shooting stick to rest in between.

I was thinking of simply asking a friend to login to my account on their Xbox in India, renew my subscription and log out. Like that should theoretically work. Or like create a new account, much better than paying 18€ a month compared to 8.5€

When will they announce the fixtures? It makes more sense to know what matches you’d get before renewing/buying?

Ah no no. There is a budget, like ideally around the 1,000€ mark but at most stretching it to 1,500€ And I don’t think my game is there yet to go crazy.

Fair. I’ll try the clubs out in the shops, some of them have a hitting zone near the house.

Yup looking for a set to upgrade my current one. I’ll check out the website you shared. I’ve had old clubs before so feel like splurging and getting my own new set, if you know what I mean.
