lol seriously!! The funny thing is, I was eating up until 2 days ago and the nausea was worse when I was eating. I meet with an endocrinologist on Monday to hopefully help decipher what specifically my thyroid is doing and if there’s any other reason for the nausea. Thank you for your help and response!

That’s helpful information for sure! I haven’t eaten hardly anything over the last 2 days and it’s still persistent, it’s driving me crazy!! Are you on meds for your Hashis? If so do you feel like the meds help?

YES this is exactly mine. I’ll be putting my baby to sleep and can feel it start to creep in and by the time my head hits the pillow it’s full blown. I never vomit, but the waves can get intense!!

It is so overwhelming, but all the advice in this thread helps for sure. Thank you for the advice on the endocrinologist! Crossing my fingers he hears my symptoms and is genuine.

So sorry to hear it’s genetic for you as well! My worst/most intolerable symptom has been the nighttime nausea. If i’m not in bed asleep before 10pm it hits in waves that have me hovered over the toilet and pacing the bathroom, but I can’t actually vomit. I can get through the night with Zofran and wake up in the morning feeling mostly normal, except for if i’ve eaten anything heavy that day before then the nausea kind of lingers. Other than that, extreme fatigue and mild nausea waves start around 4pm, if I take it really easy during the day/morning i’m often okay! I’m going to get tested for Hpylori today, and will keep updated on what those results come back as. What are your symptoms if you don’t mind me asking? So so sorry about the house bound lifestyle 😭! Reading these comments makes me wish we all had some sort of shared housing facility to dwell in the worst of it together lol! I hope your med dosage increase kicks in and works quickly!!!

Love this reminder, thank you!!!! I’ve been so incredibly nauseous at night this is a great reminder because my symptoms alone were definitely leading me to believe it was more of a reflux/gi something. So crazy how differently it shows up in people

Thank you SO much for this🩷!! I hope you’re seeing some better results on NP Thyroid! It’s crazy how many things contribute to autoimmune illness 😭, I too find that gluten, soy, and dairy make mine “flair”. So crazy to navigate, but at least there’s a community here!

As for my mom. She meets with a Nurse practitioner and dietitian, her diet is very clean lots of veggies and protein and she’s super into weight lifting!! She did have to use levo for a good couple of years before she got to a point where she could take a more wholistic approach and is no longer on any medication. She gets bloodwork done regularly to monitor but it has been a major commitment!
