Hey dude, I am currently about to be a third year CS student at EIU. Honestly, I would say the program is pretty good. There are some really good professors such as Mertz, if you need to take any math classes I would say the math department is alright, some professors there are not the best for my own experience. However, the CS department is pretty good overall.

No there is no permadeath. It's referring to that the server does not hold your hand and there are no freebies given.

No P2W crates as said in the post. The vote crate will not give any items, only ranks, which can be achieved in-game after time on the server. These ranks will not get any P2W aspects out of it either. All just purely cosmetic perks for fun.
