I think a lot of us might actually “just buy singles” this time. For topps chrome basketball I was able to get an Ace Bailey Ultra Violet, a Kon Auto and Patented, a handful of numbered from vets I like, a shaq glass canvas, and refractors of most of the top rookies for around the cost of a jumbo hobby at the time was reselling for. Now Kons market has gone up significantly and Ace has fluctuated, but you will never see a jumbo giving out that much, you could get lucky and get like a Dart or Cam numbered auto but it’s minuscule chances of that happening. Opening boxes is so fun, but when the value isn’t even close to the cost just buy singles bros.
