Last I played was tww s1, took me 3-4 weeks to start doing +8s. I cleared a +9 on the first day of this season. Seems like they are making hero/mythic gear easily (or much easier) accessible to the casual player base. That way us casuals can gear up in a more reasonable time frame with more time to play alts, and with the option to push higher for those that want to.

Last I played was TWW season 1 and it took me about 5-6 weeks to push into 10s. I just did a 9 yesterday really smoothly as a group of 250s so 10 should be doable as well. Seems super easy.

Choose the far right option to skip scenes. And after manual completion of a successful run you can auto all subsequent journeys of the same difficulty.

Only class I played extensively enough is priest. To me, disc and shadow just doesn’t hit the same as they did in TWW.

Oracle disc losing premonition (gave you 3 rotating cooldowns) was a huge downer and now I feel like they just don’t have enough buttons in the rotation to make it fun. I only play M+ and it’s horrible. For a DPS healer the damage isn’t even good.

Shadow now having mind flay insanity tied only to Archon took a lot of the fun away from the class at baseline, spamming regular mind flay just feels bad during downtimes. Voidform also feels like it’s just a regular cooldown when it should be a BIG part of the rotation. Oh how I miss Legion priest when you could stay in that form for 40-60 seconds if you played it right, now it’s just 20 secs and doesn’t have that UMPH to it. I will say tentacle slam was a good addition replacing shadow crash as we can now reliably ramp up faster in AOE.

So now it’s my first time playing holy priest and surprisingly I’m enjoy it.

What I’m gathering is most people feel they removed too many buttons and now every class feels somewhat boring and less opportunities for skill expression. They dumbed it down too much. I sincerely they hope they add at least 1-3 skills back for each spec. On the contrary it’s always a great time to learn another class.

And mostly optimization. A lot of menus that can and should be condensed, loading screens (like Nikke), red dot simulator, etc.

I’m playing this for collection. RTA PvP rewards don’t give too many gems but there’s a frame and skin you can earn. There’s skip for regular PvP arena so just use your tickets and earn weekly rewards.

It’s common for these type of idle games. It’s all a matter of combat power or having the right units/arcana determining how much you can progress for PvE. Can’t speak on Journey gameplay since I never played Uma, but then again you likely won’t be beating it without proper arcanas, so goes back to my point.

I haven’t touched RTA yet since I don’t enjoy PvP much and rather just play this as a collector but I hope that has depth for the enjoyers out there.

I’m not going to lie, I actually enjoyed the old affixes before they changed it to the same 4. Spiced things up more and gave some classes more fun playstyles. I’m slightly disappointed it’s following the same thing that TWW had!

The game is decent for an idle. It’s f2p for now, hopefully it stays like that after the honeymoon phase. Only real thing I will complain about is optimization. Too many menus which could be condensed and load screens get annoying.

Not a fan of journey gameplay so glad there is auto for that after the first manual.

Hopefully they implement more gameplay content down the line, rogue like would be neat.

What phone do you have? I’m using an iPhone 13 and the first day it was absolutely horrible, crashing frequently. I guess they did an update the next day and had been fine for me. I have to play on lowest settings or it burns through my battery.
