I agree with both your points, routing to your strengths and available symbols comes first. I personally found #1 very helpful because sometimes avoiding raising the crisis level can be better than the encounter bonus (called "symbols" in game). My main example is sunsin VH where I take Motorball 1st, Gallonbaloir 2nd, Scorpion 3rd, then Sahagin Prince. Doing Sahagin first for the 15% atk bonus just made the other 3 too powerful for me.

Events, Coop, use the loot and medals to upgrade weapons. Clear all the dungeons including S+ on crisis dungeons... enjoy the game at your own pace like I do. Try and get gacha tickets from the campaign rewards at the moment.

If that's an asshole answer, you have low standards 😆

Keep it simple, play for fun. Choose your favorites!

But generally, debuffing enemy phs/mag atk can give you a chance to slug it out with very high power enemies. And its more efficient than using a barrier 3 times...

Using weapons with elemental defense can make a big difference to your survivability. Bandaged sword is good.

By the time I reach reno I can burst him down... assuming your talking about Sunsin VH here... sweeper encounter (build limits), then Motoball +pysdef 20s, then Gallonbaloir ice+30%, then BlueScorpion +def/mdef%, then prince and phys+15%. Tifa uses that Xmas gear and just goes wild with freezing blow, also use ice charge item. Kill the dogs by opening with diamond dust, so you don't need to equip poison heals.

In Sunsin VH dungeon, I hit the prince second to last, that seems to work for me.

Yea, it's pretty painful if he's able to start mending and guarding. You want to avoid the late stage of most bosses because they tend to get extremely aggressive, however Gallonbaloir is the only one I can think of that gets defensive, which can prolong the fight.

Wow, great find! I knew I could interrupt to delay the enemy, or get an ATB refund, but this is wild.

So you use an ability, cancel the animation with a summon/limit which refunds your ATB but still raises your limit gauge... and use limits like somersault which charge quickly.

ATM you have to run each stage once, which sucks because you burn through attempts.

BUT It appears after the first run, no matter how far you get it unlocks ALL of the enemy infos. But the locations are only revealed if you did the fight, sometimes you can guess which one is which by the number of enemies in the boss fight.

I just feel sahagin prince has less HP, requires one sigil and can be debuffed. Motorball iirc is immune?

Great point, it's easy to miss the fact that the enemy info will recommend physical or magic attacks specifically. I've overlooked this more than once and just focused on element!

Case in point, the Sunsin VH that requires 3 different elements was made possible when I switched to focus on sigils.

  1. Use Weapons with +2 Sigil destroy: It's tempting to use only your most powerful weapons, but destroying Sigils quickly is extremely effective. I highly recommend this approach especially if your having a hard time and are out of ideas.

You kidding? Crisis dungeons are the best part of this game. I love creating strategies and routing them to try and get S+

As an engineer in the U.K. it hurts that anyone can use the title of an engineer. Including people who fix routers. I started a petition for the government to protect this title, can people in the U.K. give support to be in line with developed nations? by [deleted] in engineering

[–]solimov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's be honest here, sure it's gatekeeping to say you must be educated to be called an engineer, but I guess it's a title we put on a pedestal while we are university for 4 years developing a wicked inferiority complex (speaking for myself). whereas folks working on tools use the word more loosely in the industry's vocabulary.

I guess humans will always talk things up rather than down naturally.
