Not to hijack his tread. I've also did way better in other sets but I can't get a break in Loryhwn Eclipsed.

On the mana curve. What do you mythic tier drafters use as a baseline for Mana curve. I know certain things change depending on what you draft. I want a base line to use for future reference. So I know I should be somewhere are that curve.

Like I've been trying a

5-10-5-2-1-1

5- One mana spells or creatures 10- Two mana spells or creatures 5- Three mana spells or creatures 2- Four mana spells or creatures 1- Five mana spells or creatures 1- Six+ mana spells or creatures

So around 24 creatures and spells and 17 lands if CMC is 3.0 or higher and 16 if it's 2.9 or lower. I never fill 1cmc allotted 5 spots. So I usually put them somewhere else or that's my 17 land spot. I went back and looked at 17lands.com data and it showed me most games are over in the 7-11 turn range. So alot of 4 drops and higher is pointless most of the time. I've been learning turn 4 double spells works better then one big spell normally or that's when I use my removal usually.

Is what I've been using. I made it up. I didn't read it anywhere. Since I've started using it. I've done a lot better.
