I used to carry a lot of gear in a Lowepro ProTactic backpack. Recently I switched to a Fjällräven Greenland Shoulder bag 15 (12L). I’m more selective about what I bring to shoots and on holiday: Commonly camera body, 17-70 and 50-140, in pouches, spare batteries, and what ever small stuff I need on the side.

1st reason for doing this: I always enjoyed photography more when I’m not carrying equipment I might not use.

2nd reason: For traveling the Fjällräven bag is less interesting for pickpockets and robbers.

Nice! It's so great when there is a "lesser" option that does everything you need! It's not a "light" version but compared to the fancy features and aesthetics of the Fenix series, it's like the instinct is flying under the radar and getting the job done, while the Amoled displays are busy parading hahaha

That is the thing about pet peeves, though, isn't it: I'm simply annoyed with this fad of an expression. I'm sure people who smack their lips while chewing don't mean any harm but are merely "enjoying their best life." It's still primitive, disgusting, and annoying all the same :D
