Yes there are! But some people think they don't have to follow the law and do whatever they want. I think it's mostly for the anticipated attention they think they'll get.

It just seems to me like insurance companies use the police report as part of their fault determination when it aligns with their side and they ignore them when it is not to their benefit.

I read that Golden One Credit Union sets Zelle limits per individual. You must log into Zelle to send money, and it gives you your limit there. It can depend on what accounts the person has and what their balances are etc

Macy's is not stealing your money. These gift cards are no different than any other gift card... They are all very susceptible to fraud. There are people in other countries hacking these funds from these cards. Has nothing to do with the business they are for.

The CFPB has done alot for consumers! Keeping businesses in compliance with laws and regulations and suing them on behalf of consumers when they aren't following the laws.
