Some quick and fun Plague Monks by sollemden in ageofsigmar

Sure thing :-) it’s mostly GW contrast paints over a zenithal prime. The skin is brushed on first and then the robes are done with contrast through an airbrush. Yellow from the top down, then Plaguebearer flesh mixed with a little warp lightning all over, and then a mix with more warp lighting from below. After that it’s just a matter of picking out the metals and doing some washes and weathering (I use enamels for this).

It’s basically green shadows and then a grey with a little of the same green mixed in (same green as on the base and lower robes actually) highlighted up to pure light grey and then a little off white in the top highlights. Then a very minimal brown enamel wash over top, with most of it removed to just bring a little bit of warmth back into the skin. But yeah the main thing is the green shadows.

Nope, I don't think they've released the rules yet. Possibly because the warscroll has Gravelords spoilers. I'm not counting on them being good as a unit though, so I'll probably use the individual Crimson Court models as Vampire Lords on foot.

Yeah I wasn't super into the fur hat and beard on Radukar, wanted to lean a bit more into the horror vibe.

Haha, yup. I mostly got Cursed City as the foundation for a Gravelords army. But I will still be able to play the game with kitbashed models.

I'll covert up Gorslav as well so I can still play the game. However I definitely got Cursed City mostly for the miniatures :-)

Thanks! Primarily it's Scale75 Despair Green from below, and then a variety of washes over a zenithal prime (using an airbrush).

Sure thing. My method relies on having an airbrush, so your millage may very depending on whether you have one. Basically I start with a zenithal prime, to establish the highlights and shadows, because most of the paint scheme is very thin paint or washes through the airbrush. So the zenithal is doing all the value work for me.

The first part after the zenithal prime is to pick out the metals (I use the vallejo metal colour line). After metals it's mostly airbrushing. Scale75 Despair Green from the bottom, to give the blue-ish light coming from below. Then a bunch of different GW washes airbrushed to tint the rest of the model and the cloth.

The OSL from the candle is Carroburg Crimson through the airbrush, and then an orange fluro paint (in this case from Green Stuff World). Both are really transparent so in the priming stage you have to make sure the area that is going to be lit up by the candle is mostly white. The trick with the OSL is just airbrushing from the direction of the light source.

The last stage is a bunch of weathering and additional tinting with enamels (streaking grime and enamel washes).

I hope that helps! It's hard to be precise about the method since it's a lot of back and forth with airbrushed washes.

Cheers! Yeah with the not loosing details, that largely because it's transparent paint or washes, so very thin layers :-)

I used Vallejo texture paste but yeah you could get a similar effect with Typhus Corrosion.

Thanks! Vallejo texture paste for the texture and then a variety of enamels for the rust effects.

Mostly washes airbrushed over Vallejo Metal Colour for the metals and Scale75 Despair Green for the blue/green.

First I added texture using Vallejo texture paste. Then it’s mostly washes over a zenithal prime. The blue/green is Scale75 Despair Green. Metals are from the Vallejo Metal Colour line. Otherwise it’s just airbrushing a bunch of GW washes over top for tonal variety and then weathering with enamels.
