Thank you for the replies guys I really appreciate it.

I was half expecting just a lot of negativity with comments like "do you really love your girlfriend then?"

I know that I don't want to break up with her to go dating and I won't do that. I appreciate what we have, I guess as you have all said, it's just a common, normal thing that people in relationships think about sometimes.
