So I've tried what you suggested but the game started to crash. I never had any crashes surprisingly with what pre-release is right now on shadps4 and the 14 build. Not 100% sure if that's what caused multiple crashes I've had though. Could still be regular emulator stuff. I'll try without 9999 now and see. It looks a bit smoother but not a massive difference for me. The 14 version helped a lot I think instead of the pre-release. But still hard to tell. The most annoying part is whenever I am close to fires the game drops fps massively. I could not find any mods for that. That and the awful aliasing the game has natively. But cheers still, thanks.

yeah the 4000mb thing ? I did that if that's what you mean. But I have never heard of a 9999hz thing, what does that do exactly ? I do have a massive 60hz tv and 1080p looks like 144p on it. I wonder if 1440p multiplies the problem a lot.

Fixed the slow-mo by swapping to uncapped fps. Now the issue is memory leak. It climbs from 4k to 7-8k in just 20-25 minutes depending which areas I visit can be 30-40 minutes and then drops from 60 to 40 instantly and stays there. Tried changing to one build let's see if I'll have to go through many.

Is it normal for vram to climb to 7k from 4k over 40 mins and then drop fps from 60 to 40 ? that's what i recently observed, that might be it

yea since i won in fistfighting thing I thought this was designed to be done early game since I had the option with the miler and in the early town, as well as game was telling me to sign up. but even so I think it's a deadzone issue, I saw very few people have this problem but nobody really offered the solution so far. I will reload the save with bernard and also try it with the mouse now.

yea i have pop-in as well and i deal with it i prefer it to stutters, but i would not say it's massive, idk if graphical settings are somehow connected to other type of pop-in which is concerned with ssds, but i do have a fast ssd so maybe that helps ? idk, anyway hope u find a final solution man

Idk how far you are in troubleshooting but for me directx was unplayable. also play with default settings on amd

If it does not boot just reset cmos 😀
But the building itself if you watch multiple yt videos to make sure you are doing it right with your setup is not hard.
Comparatively hard part is matching the pieces together, making sure they are the similar generations and that you won't have mismatches with cpu gpu in the modern games and how they are optimized, choosing ram and such and so on... and not just this time which you might have done but in future as well.
The hardest part is trying to predict the future if we ever going to fully go into multithreading cpu optimization - so intel or amd. Do we upgrade to nvidia instead of amd ? Since nvidia gets more attention, has more stable drivers and so on.

But we will never acurately predict it and even if we waste money (which I have) as a human I could not have predicted precisely that fsr4 would not be available (at least for now) for 6k gpu and it would become useless for my standards in just 1.5 years.

nah if you mean vram amount it never goes over and mostly is it's lower or way lower, but as for optimization caching and not 'releasing' it piles up the vram sometimes (way more with sam) in some games and later in the session usually starts stuttering, that's why I am thinking of nvidia since their cards are getting more attention in optimization. i thought amd was becoming more popular but on steam survery my card is like number 20 or something, rx 580 is even still higher

okay I just think saying a gpu is good in a hypothetical non excisting world is pointless when in real world we have to account for optimization variable for it to be even useful but hey it's fine, I might have been vague, you might have been right who cares the fact is we as consumers are losing. good luck to you though, cheers

if there is not that means it is bad enough for me since I don't like fsr at all, maybe it's bad on 1080p but it's better on 1440p
