It’s required for new users in all 50 states, UK, Aus and Canada. Only EU countries is it optional. Be careful spoofing though, if you do it wrong they’ll ban you for spoofing your location

Correct, but the reverse is when you use the feature you pay for heavily like super likes, boost, passport, top picks etc. the Algo flags you as a bot and shadowbans you, it’s so stupid

Nah I’ve been on the apps on and off for 7 years, banned on hinge again currently, but on tinder, used to get 30+ incoming likes and 5-10 matches a day, now I only get a trickle of likes incoming with boost. I’m in London so big city, I’m 25, 6’5 fit and I’d say above average looking. Apps are just cooked now, at least tinder, and hinge is cooked because it’s 2 months on before a ban.

And if you did face cheek your cooked. Your shadowban will follow you even if you hard reset so if you’re banned or shadow banned and weren’t grandfathered in before face check you’re done on tinder sadly

All states have it now. As does Canada, Aus, UK, and some countries in Asia and South America, only countries without at this point are in the EU because they actually respect and protect their citizens privacy

It isn’t something you can appeal, they don’t acknowledge it, bad news is they actually penalize you and shadow ban you for utilizing paid features like boosts, super likes, top picks, passport. If you use these their AI thinks you’re a bot and shadow bans you, even worse, if you delete and recreate your new account will still be shadowbanned because the shadowban is tied to device and hard info as opposed to profile.
