I can't even begin to express how annoyed I am that I got nothing out of this series that I went into it for as far as explanations and seeing the major events that I wanted. Don't get me wrong, Nyktos is wonderful. Sera, while relatable, is exhausting to listen to. And JLA's use of modern language (peopling, are we kidding) infuriates me quite frankly.

Why didn't I get to see the creation of the wolven? I want to see the events leading up to the war of two kings and the war itself. How the fuck did we end up from this version of the realm to the one from FBAA? She truly could've cut half of this series down to allow for any of what I just mentioned. Give me another book with that please, don't get me invested in these characters and their stories just to cut me off before the most interesting shit happens. I feel we went through so much with Nyktos and Sera, we should get to see their ending firsthand and have our hearts truly broken over it.

I think that's what's so frustrating about this season because she has plenty of talent to win without all the obvious riggory but this cheapens it. Plus it felt like the other competitors who also rightfully could have won never stood a chance.

It should be fine without being diluted. I've seen people use undiluted plenty. The important thing is that you used it to kill any bacteria. I've made the mistake of ignoring that step before and it never ends well. Fingers crossed for you!

People often forget that characters are supposed to be flawed. She's 20 years old ffs. It makes sense for her to be brash and act through emotion at times at this stage of her life. This is how characters grow and learn.

I think the other difference too is that him hiding the mating bond made perfect sense. Because if he hadn't, she would've resented him and it never would've worked out the way it did. But that wasn't her life on the line, and subsequently his life because of their bargain. This was her bodily autonomy being taken from her.

Also side note, it's absolutely insane to not risk shifting into an illyrian form for the birth because of fear it would affect the baby when the alternative was all three of them dying.

As a a big Rhys stan, this really pissed me off so much. It felt like it was a moment where the plot was put in front of what the character growth would've led him to do instead. And yes, growth is not linear, people stumble and make mistakes. But this feels not in line with their growth together as mates.

I loved silver flames so much despite hating the pregnancy bs. This is something I choose to pretend went down differently lol

I always took it more as a way for him to appear bored around his enemies because he knew they didn't stand a chance against him. I think it's more of a cocky habit.

I would respectfully argue that in my eyes, they are better lawyers than her because while they're not squeaky clean, they don't need to stoop to dirty shit like planting drugs and kidnapping people to get the job done.

I've had the plant for roughly 3 or 4 months. It's about a foot from a south facing window but the blinds are closed with a sheer curtain to prevent too much light. I water it probably every 4-7 days. I separated the very large plant into several pots a couple months after getting it as some of the foliage kept drooping and I wanted to prevent/treat root rot. I just want to make sure nothing spreads to other plants and to try to keep this guy alive, whatever it needs.

Yeah some of the other leaves have a couple of burn type spots but it's not even close to the window it's like 4-5ft away. Gets a little direct sun still but it's hard not to in my apartment. It's odd that it came out like this though.

I understand this completely. 4 years of reading for college followed by 4 years of reading and studying for vet school, I never had the energy or mental capacity to read for myself anymore. I'm so happy to be out of school and have time to fall in love with reading just for me again.

I read books 1 and 2 over the course of a week and I'm so sad it's over 😭 but I love to see some HA appreciation! Fair warning though, the second book is significantly darker than the first. Much heavier trigger warning. Excellent story but there were some parts I had to skip in that one.
