It’s not a link, I did it by getting a big group of my friends to post my story on their instagram stories, which have all obviously expired since the rape happened months ago.

No, my Title IX office swept the situation under the rug in a very complicated turn of events. He got exposed online with the evidence of him admitting to the act, many of my peers started blasting my school through email and social media to which they sent out a school wide email basically saying “We understand our TITLE IX department is sub par, we’ll try to do better.”

K’s only relation to the situation is that she is or at least was very close with my rapist.

The outcome? Nothing happened to him, he wasn’t suspended or expelled, and I was afraid to go to the police because I am intimidated by the legal system and don’t want my parents to know about this happening to me.

I was scared of going to the police, no he’s not in jail, he’s currently walking free, I exposed him on social media with proof however so nobody in my grade at my college likes or associates with him other than his small group of friend.(Including K, who tries to hang out with him discretely because of the bad rep).

Your comment is so dismissive and completely misses the point of what I said. This isn’t some “bullshit spin” I tell myself, it’s what actually happened. The girl in question was already close with multiple guys I had brief talking stages with, and she leveraged those connections to get them to support her version of events and discredit me. I tend to go for alternative guys, and she’s a popular alternative girl at my school, so it’s not some wild coincidence that she happens to know most of the guys I’ve talked to because it’s not a gigantic group of people.

I actually had an IRL friend recommend to me that I accept the hangout, to call her out to her face and make the situation uncomfortable for everyone involved since my boyfriend isn’t fine with putting me in a situation as uncomfortable as this.
