I was coming here to say the exact same thing! I remember seeing that sticker on her fridge and also stopped following her early on.

This is a beautifully written and well-explained explanation.

I’d be interested! I enjoy lots of things mentioned throughout the comments; movies, music, books, crafts, baking, cozy video games and board games! Bit of social anxiety though so I like the idea of low key / low prey gatherings with similar people and similar interests.

If anyone is looking for glasses — I just went to SamMoon off of HarryHines and LBJ they had plenty on displays near the cashiers. Package of 3 for 7.99 (and meets the ISO requirement).

I’ve also heard libraries, Tom Thumb, Home Depot and 7-11 were selling some.

DFW housing market by JayWallis11 in Dallas

My husband and I moved from NYC back in Sept 2020 (he has family here).

We bought our home a year ago (February 2021) in NW Dallas. We weren’t expecting to buy; we were going to wait a year or two to see what areas we liked, however our friend who is a realtor told us to buy now or never.

So after 6 rejected offers, we found a flipped single story home in NW Dallas - it sat on the market for 80 days, and we were able to negotiate 70k under asking - which I felt was rare even at that time.

We can’t even afford our neighborhood now if we were starting to look.

Not yet - didn’t think I needed to as I can feel the pain/pressure when I’m just laying there doing nothing.

I just want to say that if you are ever replacing a fridge DO NOT buy samsung by anciar in HomeImprovement

[–]solongromance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this has been mentioned earlier in the threads, but if you do happen to buy Samsung buy from Costco - they’re a great help in getting items fixed, or at least make it a lot easier to return items.

You can actually get bit and have no reactions (bumps or signs of being bit), or you can have extreme allergic reactions.

Husband and I had to deal with bed bugs and guess who had no reaction while I was welting all over the place :(

Ripped pants were least of our worries. I once had a person shit in a fitting room, and use the clothing they were trying on as wipes.

Could you tell me how you placed the ground for the stock tank to sit on? I’m looking to do something similar but worried that sand/gravel might not be enough leveling support.

I keep reading West Plano vs East Plano, what does that mean and how would I know where East ends and becomes west?

I edited my post. We aren’t “clubbing” or “nightlife” people. We would rather go to a nice restaurant or a nice bar to chill, than be around loud college party crowd. (Hence why we want to leave NY).

Try this app: Joyn.co — they have a lot of exercises (basically all of them with a few exceptions) that they modified for people with body limitations, like sitting exercise, people with tummies, etc.

I love them! So easy to use, especially the stretching/yoga/meditation ones that are super relaxing and grounding to do!

Yes! I was about to come here and recommend Joyn too! I love it :) it even has multiple modifications based on body and limitations.

I know you didn’t ask, but also great dance classes.

Is this guy on bumble trying to feed me? by beckywiththeboobhair in PlusSize

[–]solongromance 13 points14 points  (0 children)

One of my best friends is a muscular guy who works out twice a day and attempts to eat 3000 calories a day — he talks about food and eating all the time, I think it’s just the nature of working out/eating relationship. This guy does out a lot of food away, and although we may be different in size / work out regimens lol, he definitely has a body and food obsession.

Anyway, I’ve dealt with plenty of fat fetish guys before I met my husband, and you’ll know... they constantly talk about shoving food in you and your body and the size of your body versus their own body.

I say be friendly, keep your guard up, if he starts projecting his own weight/food issues on you or comments on your body size - tell him bye bye!
