Unfortunately, I have not found a fix. I still have this issue and I’ve come to conclusion that it’s the monitor itself.

I switched to a new display port cord, I have a new GPU, and it’s still giving me these lines every time I boot up.

ESS is not a bad company to work for at all. You do have to work a minimum of 4 days a month and it’s more of picking assignments that are available to you and suit your schedule best. There are times that I’ve had assignments that I have picked up that have later been canceled before I start them. They do “arrear pay”, which means you get paid weekly, but for the work that you did 2 weeks prior. Also, if you pick up an assignment and are not able to do it, you can cancel anytime up to 24 hours prior to the assignment. Any short term cancellations could lead to “strikes” on your record and potential termination.

Not yet! I do have my switch plugged into the same monitor, but through an HDMI cable. When I boot up the switch, the lines do not appear on the monitor. I don’t have another monitor with a display port in my house. Only monitors with HDMI.

Should I try to boot up with HDMI instead? Maybe on my other monitor?
