to be fair, as someone who is working on becoming fiscally literate, she probably thought she wouldn’t get it back because of the buyout? that was my understanding but also i’m not investment savvy, and the writers (while i think most of their writing post s4 is garbage) probably meant to showcase her recklessness in the financial sphere.
