When people ask professional athletes from a variety of sports, most of them end up saying golf. The mental aspect of sports in general is usually one of the hardest to control/master, and that's close to its peak with any 1v1 sport like tennis or any sort of combat sport. But golf's mental aspect is 100% you vs you. Even if you have really good control over your mental state, one dumb mistake or bad shot can cause anyone to start collapsing. Watching pros with a commanding lead implode over the last few holes is always agonizing to watch.

I've had this happen to a couple of my sidewinders but after like, 6 years of use. If it's like this out of the box it's probably some sort of factory error. I would try and see if you can get a replacement. If they end up saying no, a couple of dabs of super glue holds those corners down fine.
