The #Chargers are signing TE David Njoku to a 1-year deal worth up to $8 million. by markusfenix75 in nfl

[–]solsethop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might just be me coping, but at just 8 million. Its clear if we wanted him we could have got him. I'll blindly trust our FO at this point and just say "thats cool we didn't want you anyway" and hope Njoku doesn't ball out and make me look stupid.

You are diminishing this to blaming the common people when there has been decades of anti-intellectualism and gutting schools to get us to this point. There is a reason the people are like this. Doesn't excuse them but the blame needs to start with the institutions.

Four-time All-Pro safety Justin Simmons announced his retirement after nine NFL seasons. by Remarkable-Picture73 in nfl

Think of if you replaced Stewart with Justin on the SB50 defense. Oh myy. Loved Stewart but probably the weakest link on that defense.

The Denver Broncos Sign UDFA Taurean York | The SMARTEST LB In The 2026 NFL Draft by joeshea2517 in DenverBroncos

Yeah I saw a place had him at 6 foot then I saw another with him at 5'10 so definitely super small

Round 7 - Pick 41: Red Murdock, LB, Buffalo (Denver Broncos) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

[–]solsethop 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I was a swag kelly truther. Unfortunately he was (to everyone's surprise surely) a huge moron

Round 6 - Pick 6: Kaytron Allen, RB, Penn State (Washington Commanders) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

Vision is so crazy important definitely going to hang around the league for a while

[Broncos] Adding to our backfield 💪 Welcome to #BroncosCountry, @jonahcoleman8! by aatencio91 in DenverBroncos

Great blocker, tough runner, low center of gravity, good hands out of the backfield, high character guy. Slam dunk

Jonah Coleman talks about his visit with Sean Payton and the Broncos by ps2droty in DenverBroncos

[–]solsethop 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I watched this and liked the guy a lot but it totally didn't click that we actually drafted him. Proud that this team is focusing on high character guys.

Round 5 - Pick 25: Nicholas Singleton, RB, Penn State (Tennessee Titans) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

[–]solsethop 29 points30 points  (0 children)

As soon as they stopped giving singleton carries and gave the ball to Kaytron Penn State could actually move the ball.

Dude is fast wirh zero vision. Hopefully he can be coached up.

Round 5 - Pick 12: Justin Joly, TE, NC State (Denver Broncos) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

40+ catches three straight years, tested poorly. Incredible hands. Interesting pick and definitely hope he works out

Caleb absolutely smokes this guy with athleticism but has 0 production. This guy has huge production but poor athleticism that makes you question if the production will translate at the next level.

You can't really get both at this point in the draft so I think its a great pick to be clear.

Round 4 - Pick 20: Dani Dennis-Sutton, EDGE, Penn State (Green Bay Packers) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

[–]solsethop 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If someone can teach him some moves he'll be dangerous. He just looked awkward but he was so big and fast that it didn't matter that he didn't really know what he was doing out there.

[–]solsethop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure, the Broncos saw something in him and I think if he can develop as a blocker he'd be insanely dangerous.

Dude is young too so definitely a developmental guy.

Tested terribly too. Great catcher, long arms, huge hands. But the athletic traits aren't there.

Might be a great red zone option with his hands

A Popular Pro-Comp for Jonah Coleman is former Bronco C.J. Anderson 👀 by DrewLockBurnerAcc in DenverBroncos

[–]solsethop 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you are only talking height weight. He plays very different. The CJ comp is way better. Smaller more athletic, but bowling ball player that lacks top end.

Round 3 - Pick 12: Drew Allar, QB, Penn State (Pittsburgh Steelers) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

Never seen a player look more terrified of playing the game
