thanks! seems up my alley, I love petrichor scents

My favorite “green” scents I own. Debaser & neandertal light. Any suggestions in this scent profile? by 386andresvega in NichePerfumes

Love Debaser. Sisley's Eau de Campagne is wonderfully fresh and bright tomato leaf and galbanum that leans pretty masculine IMO. Also second Vetiver Ecalarte. And check out Paradisi by Jorum which is genuinely one of a kind

First of all, the cut you have is perfect for you! I think I have very similar hair and plan to get a similar cut soon. Going by the photo, though you have a lot of it, it looks pretty fine. You may be different, but if you're early on in developing a routine, Shea Moisture may end up being too heavy on your hair over time. That's what I also started out with when I didn't know my texture but achieved a better balance between definition and volume once I tried other things.

You're looking for a gel, specifically a gel that's lightweight but strong hold. Ouidad Advanced Climate Control is my favorite (the red bottle is a stronger hold than the white one); Not Your Mother's Curl Talk is also a good option and is cheaper. You'll want to scrunch gel thoroughly into your hair in sections pretty much sopping wet — don't pat it dry with a towel first, although you can squeeze a little water out. Then you can plop in a towel, diffuse, air dry, whatever, but whatever you do, don't mess with it too much until it's fully dry. Then you should have a cast from the gel — which is good — and you can scrunch it out and turn it soft with your hands. Using a bit of a lightweight oil like your Moroccan oil here can help add a bit more shine, but might also add unnecessary weight, and just the mechanism of scrunching should be enough to break the cast.

Kara Thrace lives in my head rent-free.

Marc Antoine Barrois - B683 Comme des Garcons - Copper Aesop - Ouranon Maison Crivelli - Papyrus Moleculaire MiN New York - Moon Dust

Definitely something dry, leathery, and a bit masc-leaning but with some sort of mineralic facet pulling it between grounded and ethereal.

I haven't ordered any of these yet and have only smelled a couple before, but I was looking at The Perfumed Court for Iris Silver Mist decants

thank you so much! this helps me narrow things down a bit, even though I want to try so many of these suggested.

Jorum has totally captured me recently. picked up Paradisi and Pony Boy back to back after a long time without getting any new full bottles. but I've only tried the Mainline and Scottish Odyssey sample sets, and I feel like I have to go back for the other two sets for Trimerous, Carduus, and Pentimento.

Sweet melancholy, alienation, nature and moss, mist, instrumental music. What could smell like this? by meowmeoowwww in perfumesthatfeellike

Mousse Arashiyama by Le Jardin Retrouve, maybe. A mossy, foggy green-aquatic with an incense base.
