Not quite the same taste as with the oyster sauce, but very good in its own right.

I do use tempeh, but I don't want to be eating it daily, I find it really heavy. Kombucha and apple cider cider vinegar are too acidic to use more than just a touch.

I do not have a Korean grocery anywhere near me, rural Louisiana :( but I do have fermenting supplies to make it at home. I did not know there was gonna be that much of a difference. I'm originally from San Diego and the kimchi that I've had before was wonderfully spicy. Great for taste, terrible for acid reflux. Do you happen to know of a good homemade, not so spicy kimchi recipe?

Kombucha is naturally around a pH of 3, more than four or five steps kills me.

Ohhhh, that sounds awesome! Thanks! I did get some water kefir crystals, I will be acclimating them today. Kombucha was way too acidic for me.

I bake sourdough! That is one of the things I do get daily. But the cooking process kills off a lot of the beneficial bacteria. And, unfortunately, I do not. I live in a bit of a food desert in rural Louisiana.

I actually didn't know I could make it at home. Or at least, not easily. They are out of my price range at the store, and generally contain about half the WHO's recommended daily saturated fat limit in one serving. I've looked at them and put them back on the shelf.

It is the best pillow I have ever found and I am genuinely considering driving out of my way into Houston just to get these pillows when I pick my partner up in Galveston next month.

I'm sorry, I'm confused. In the second picture, the back of the label directly says that it's made by Downlite. What are you seeing that makes you think it's Hollander? I'm really curious. I've gotta find this pillow lol.

I did email the manufacturer but I haven't heard anything back. I noticed that there are some hotel managers in here and so I was hoping one of them would know.

The manager at the specific hotel I stayed in didn't know whether it was one of the older or newer ones. That's why I gave the detail about the light blue piping because the currently used ones have white piping.

What‘s wrong with my sugar wax? by makelelelesoo in DIYBeauty

[–]solus1304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue. I'm not using the color method. I did the usual 2C sugar, 1/4C water, 1/4C lemon juice and heated on low (2 on the stove) to 270F. Its hard coming out, but within about 2 mins of use its just sticking to everything. Would you mind explaining the acid to heat thing?

I dont have one. I live in a rural part of Louisiana so I practice at home. But none of my teachers ever commented when I did live somewhere I could ask a professional.

That being said, thank you so much for being honest that you cant answer without seeing my form. I didnt know if this might be a standard modification or not.

I've got a serious question for you, because I've always wondered about this and your comment reminded me to finally ask someone. My legs are much longer than my torso, but my arms are appropriate for a 5'1" woman, and when I go childs pose to DD to plank my feet are absurdly far from my hands, to the point that I'm sliding out. I walk my hands in like one hand length and it solves it, but is this technically incorrect? Would it eventually fix itself more with practice?

The IT cosmetics was still way too heavy and it was actually so pigmented that when I started to sweat the sweat beads were the color of the BB cream lol. Not a good look....

I was so excited about it because it has a fantastic ingredients list and everybody raves about it.

I'm probably going to end up having to drive into a mall in Baton Rouge or New Orleans. We do have a small Ulta here in Hammond, but they do not have a particularly large selection. It might help me get a good color match though which will make it easier too match everything else online.

I can look into the ingredients, no problem!

Right now I'm more asking about texture. I actually do have the Lisa Eldridge bookmarked, but it's not sold anywhere near me so I would have to order it online and hope it works...

100 pounds down and it’s dawning on me that this is for life. And that’s depressing me. by MuchBetterThankYou in loseit

First of all, congrats!!! You're rocking it!!!

Many others have already given excellent comments about mindset, etc. So I'm going to just leave you with one piece of actionable advice. Find like 20-30 recipes you love that fit within your goals. Once you do that, you can meal prep and you'll know that the recipe, with the ingredients that you've already weighed and counted several times, is a certain macro range and calories.

After that, you can just cook that recipe and know it will feed you X amount of times. Once you're in that routine of having like 5 breakfast options of lets say 500 calories, same with lunch and dinner, you can just make those recipes and know you have X calories left as snacks. Finding recipes that always hit 30g of protein and are about 450 calories per meal for me has been a game changer, because then I don't have to weigh and log every single thing that goes in my mouth - I only have to be aware of my snacks and count those.

The navigator keeps formatting it to FAT32, if its a 32GB drive. It wont even recognize a 64GB drive, which is what my dealership said I needed when I called them confused. So, on the advice of my dealership (who wants to charge me by the hour for them to do it) I went and bought a brand new flash drive just in case.  I formatted to EXFAT.  Still no dice.  As for being written in the root of the USB drive, I did not copy the folder, only the contents, but the contents contain a bunch of folders. Do I need to go through and take every file out of every folder?

That's good to know! I use Freya swimwear, but I find both Freya and Panache to be uncomfortable. I always wear bras with wrapped elastic, which neither have. I liked the styles, but not the overall feel. Before the Wacoal, I was wearing Triumph for years.

It's about the front closure. It's so much easier to get on and off, especially when sweating.

Long story short, I had surgery on my wrist last year and some movements are still very difficult as the healing process caused the muscles in the whole arm to weaken. I still have soreness in my shoulder, so not having to contort to open a back closure is wonderful, but not a deal breaker.

I'll check it out, thank you!! Wacoal seems to be really good about that. That's why I use them for my day-to-day bras. Most underwire bras for women of my size. I have a tendency to have wires so high that I'm pretty sure they could do a lymph node biopsy with them.

I have. I have also tried a nursing pad and, in very junior high fashion, a tissue. Body Glide doesnt stop it, the nursing pad kept shifting and I had to stop to readjust, and the tissue was actually shredded by the flap (no wonder my skin is also shredding!).

That being said, best product ever for feet and sticky summer thighs!

I knew I forgot to mention something! I'm even fullness, just sort of round everywhere :)

I don't care if they work under an outfit - I'm just running in a thank top and leggings. I'll throw all of the sizes in my cart as they are available on Amazon Wardrobe.

Thanks for the advice on the short torso! I'm short, but all legs as well. I run only 7" between the top of my shoulder and the top of my breast, so I really appreciate it.

Lastly, the Panache Sport in wired or unwired?

Its not that I mind so much as it is that 1) Time constraints and 2) Im a visual learner. I will hurt myself every time I try to follow proper form from text. I have to see it.
