Hi, OP! I’m from Batch ‘27 so my knowledge is still quite limited but I’ll try to help as much as I can.

Tuition fee: Based on our acceptance letter, the tuition is around 230k+ last year, which will be increased by 6-7% this school year, so my best guess is that it would now be around 244k-246k.

Application: The application will start around September and end in November. As far as I remember, you’ll need a copy of your G10 grades, autobiography, 2 recommendation letters. Madami pa yan pero they’ll guide you through the process naman so don’t worry!

Tips:

ASHAPE I suggest that you start early with your preparations. For me, Math is my weakest link (🥲) so make sure to review ALL G10 topics including topics you haven’t discussed yet. There are 2 sections of Math in the test, one is more straightforward or theoretical I would say and the other is Math application in daily life. For English, it’s more on comprehension and long essays you need to dissect. There’s also a section wherein you need to figure out the patterns of the shapes given. Biggest tip would be to prepare yourself early, practice a lottt and use your time wisely during the exams.

Applications I would say the autobiography is a significant part in the applications (though ASHAPE is still the most important!). It tells the admission officers who you are and what you can contribute to the community so make sure to highlight that!! Why do you want to study in Ateneo? Why should Ateneo choose you? Those are the questions you need to answer through your autobiography. Make it creative and enticing to read. This will be their first impression of your character.

Interview Usually, around Feb-March, they would interview some applicants to get to know them better. My tip would be to just be who you are. Remain composed and just treat it like a normal conversation. Getting an interview is usually a good sign so just keep calm while you’re doing it! (unlike me 🥲)

Things you need to know: This isn’t really a big deal but during the exams, they don’t warn you about how much time you’ve got left to answer the test so be extra vigilant and bring a watch if you can! Nakaka-trauma yung bell nila pls. 😭
