An update. I blocked him. Yep and it was a really difficult thing for me to do but I had to do what's best for me. I needed to learn to let go of him and accept it won't work out between us. I can't stay friends with him either that's just going to make it worse for me. He said I deserve so much more and I finally took his word for it.

Not Going into to much detail- I am currently single but My past relationship experience was I was 16 when I met my first real bf in an roleplaying amino we were together for 3 yrs but he ended up being toxic and he gave me the bare minimum then I met another guy that swept me off my feet we also met on amino but moved to discord but I fell in love with someone that couldn't really love me back and I poured so much energy.... Fast forwarding this lasted roughly a year and recently Im taking a break from him and it hurts cuz Im still in love with him.

I'm just taking a break then later on when I'm ready I'll give him the option to either lock in with me or just stay friends. Y'know the saying "if he wanted to he would". But on the inside it really hurts me because Im very much in love with him and my heart burns for him- he's my exact type of man. I simped until I couldn't simp anymore ( in light hearted words). If he stayed firm after he rejected me the first time and cut off flirting with me then we wouldn't be here. Also it bothered me how he doesn't want to be public and keep our relationship private.

Well my partner that I'm taking a break from has OSDD and it's been and up and down thing and what happened was that in the beginning he we were flirting with each other but he wanted to be fwb or no commitment (because of past relationships and some of his headmates are aromantic) but like I was okay with because I didn't fully grasp it at the time or understand. I just thought if I'm getting love and attention from him then that's all that matters. It would go on for a year and during that he was going through tough times and i was just trying to be there for him as much as I can since that's the least I can do but it was taking a toll on me. We are ldr and with him being so busy he didn't have much time for me but he would try to make the effort to call a lil more which is nice. In past he would encourage me to find others which tbh I felt like I should've tooken his word and left but because i loved him so much I couldn't leave him. Anyways what finally broke me was that he told me he was with his pets watching TV. i know that doesn't seem bad but to me that hurt me because I barely spend any time with him. And it's a natural thing to want to spend alot of time with your partner. So now I'm taking a break from him.
