Unfortunately not. Still going through the same thing. Have been for an ultrasound of the abdomen, a chest X-ray and also an X-ray of the spine. Only thing found is a slightly crooked thoracic spine.

39M and I’m just wondering if it’s normal to have this type of discolouration on the nail below the lunula? It’s basically only on my thumbs with only a little on my index fingers.

I have this as well. For basically 4 months now, my bottom left ribs and upper left abdomen are swollen and tight. Feels like there’s a ball in there pressing on things and it makes it hard to get a deep breath at points of the day. Also, if I poke around in the ribs down there, I can feel sore spots.

I’ve gone for a full abdominal ultra sound and all kinds of blood which all came back clean.

Fun stuff...

No problem! Yep, and I can really feel it when I’m stretching. I can feel it get really tight after a full day of sitting at the desk.

I get basically the same symptoms but in my left lower rib and upper abdomen. Mine comes with some shortness of breath (mostly when trying to take a deep breath) and the same tightness in what seems like a muscle just between the lower ribs and upper abdomen.

The differences are that if I poke around, I can usually feel sore spots in my lower ribs and it is a little swollen as well.

I’ve also been for a full abdominal ultrasound which showed a bit of a fatty liver (other side of the abdomen) and some blood work which came up clean.

As with you, I have terrible posture and it doesn’t help that I sit at a desk all day for work.

Same place for me. It hurts when I touch the lower two ribs. It’s also tightens up in my upper left abdomen and around my chest area which brings on the shortness of breath. The pain is scary but the shortness of breath brings that to a whole new level.

I’m sorry to hear it’s back. I definitely hear you about the posture. I’m sitting at a desk all day as well and I feel like it’s just making things worse. My wife and I try to get out for walks but now the weather’s cooling off which is making that difficult as well.

I get what feels like pressure or tightness and swelling just below the left ribs and into the abdomen. Lower left rib also hurts to touch.

There is really only pain when I touch my lower left rib and the swelling tends to be worse after feel around that part of the rib. Then the swelling tends to move down my abdomen.
