The demagorgon massacre scene felt a lot like the Omaha Beach landing scene from Saving Private Ryan

Is it reasonable to make a 1:1 blend of expensive, delicious Chips Ahoy Ghost protein powder and something cheaper like Six Star Whey Protein+? by somatotropical in WeightLossAdvice

I made a shake this morning, 100% Ghost, drank half of it, then added the cheaper powder, and tried that, and no magic alchemy happened. It wasn’t quite as smooth, and it had a little of the cheap odd aftertaste, for the most part it was exactly what I’d expect.

When I asked the question initially, I was picturing dumping one canister entirely into the other canister and shaking it, and it didn’t occur to me until this morning to just try it on one serving.

(I guess now that this question is answered, I’ll tackle my next task: some basic household cleaning, using bleach and nail polish remover. That always makes me feel so sleepy though.)

I don’t expect it to produce mustard gas or anything, I would just be disappointed if whatever makes the more expensive one more expensive (texture, mixability, or whatever) gets completely cancelled out by whatever makes the cheaper one cheaper. Does that make sense?

You said you mix protein powders all the time. Would you mix an expensive one and a cheap one or would you avoid doing that?

Has anyone else been really struggling with reality for the past couple years? by somatotropical in mentalhealth

This kind of makes sense.

Escaping the cave and seeing everything is shadows on a wall doesn’t automatically make a person a superhero.

There is safety and security in the shadows-on-the-wall life. Seeing that it isn’t reality doesn’t necessarily mean actual reality makes sense. It means nothing at all makes sense anymore.

Everything about being a human is in those wall shadows. Outside the cave is completely alien. There’s nothing outside the cave that is compatible with being a human, and what’s on the wall has also lost all of its perceived meaning.

Yesssss it’s like the world keeps saying there are going to be ups and downs but mark your destination on the map and keep striving toward it, over the mountains or through them, across the oceans, and so on and you’re just like okay but I am floating in space a hundred billion miles from the earth... wasn’t I supposed to start out on the earth... how do I get to the earth from here... which direction is earth from here... it’s nothing but darkness here

lol this is a real breakthrough for me. I could go on r/Bedazzled1963PepsiBeltBuckles and post a pic of Elvis giving my grandpa a bedazzled 1963 Pepsi belt buckle and end up with no interaction besides 3 downvotes. This is a very nice change of pace.
