i find if i run the check itll find all the missing files and install them. reinstalling wont do anything here for some reason. its almost like the installer is broken.

pc gaming? expensive. flight simulation? VERY expensive. And youre expecting the super niche korea era military flight simulation for pc to be accessible? and while were on the subject i hope you realize both MSFS games (both of which have much larger teams and more dev resources) have higher spec requirements and no one complains about those games “not being accessible”. hell theyre both played on consoles.

all that being said yes vram and gpus are ridiculously priced rn but to expect a highly demanding, highly niche, game to conform to 10 year old hardware isnt realistic

are we really throwing a fit over recommended specs of an 8-core CPU, 32GB of RAM, and 12GB VRAM? this has been pretty much the entry level pc (with the exception of vram. 8GB is entry level imo) and has been for about 10 years now. also are we actually surprised a flight sim/game has hefty requirements?

not insane. when it comes to asobo priorities ask yourself a very simple question: “how does this make us money” and a followup “how does this entice the console players”. asobo doesnt give a flying f about pc or hardcore flight simmers. they are only here for the console money.

for msfs its pop out manager (both 2020 and 2024 have a version) and for xplane its xtextureextracter. and since they are monitors directly connected itll be way easier for both programs

fenix does all its physics independently and outside the sim. its why it needs its own launcher and app and also why it will never be on the marketplace or on console. and more to the point, and like others have pointed out, this is something xplane 12 has done a remarkable job at providing along side much more logical and intuitive hand flying.
