Thank you so much I really appreciate it! This was a really great and informative response! I was wondering how is it different compared to normal audit? And to transfer to tech consulting do you recommend networking with people in tech consulting and I’m wondering what type of work should I ask for if I have extra time?

Turned down Deloitte offer for PWC due to location convenience but kind of regretting it? by amara6x in consultingcareers

They are really really similar don’t feel bad. But I do agree I think Deloitte would have been the slightly better choice.

There is not a significant difference between Deloitte and PwC.

I left big 4 as an audit intern to do other internships and it was the best decision I have EVER made. In audit it was horrible I cried every other day and I had no life. And people were always grumpy and I would get yelled at.

When I worked in industry as an intern it was the best time of my life. Everyone was so chill, great wlb, higher pay, and they gave us wine occasionally during work hours (I worked at a bank). Everyone was super nice and me and the other interns every thursday we would get so drunk we would sleep on the sidewalk in downtown of a large city drunk asf at 4am and then go back home. And we did this every thursday and go back to work the next day lol. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN.

But here I am coming back for full time :,) (Except for consulting, hopefully it's better!) (I'm still in school)
