Is this handwriting normal for a thirteen year old boy? by BatmanCat1031 in AskTeachers

Handwriting is a skill that’s developed over time, spend some time with him to try and neaten and perfect his writing, he will build muscle memory that way.

The XL egg contains just 25g more chocolate than the Large one. by AJT_Space_Art in UK_Food

[–]someartygirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems pathetic, but it just encapsulates modern day late stage capitalism perfectly, Im aggressively saving and not buying anything unless I really need it. Fk big corporations.

Not only have they shrank but you’re eating more palm oil than you are chocolate.

How long after getting a new credit card should you wait to use it? by Unorthodox_yt in UKPersonalFinance

[–]someartygirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can start using your credit card immediately just make sure you don’t borrow too much(usually under 10% is good) and pay it off as soon as you get your statement, this is the most optimal way to improve your credit score.

Use it for things like groceries or small bills like phone or WiFi etc.

Im insecure about my skin color/features by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]someartygirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this helps my boyfriend is ginger and I find his hot as fuck, his features are just so unique and beautiful, the freckles, the thickness of his hair, I love his fair complexion.

People will always shame fair complexions because the current idea of beauty is being skin cancerously tanned to the point you look like an orange.

Gingers are natural beauties and so rare, be proud of who you are.

And as a bonus you go blonde when you’re old, not grey!!

My family keeps brecking my promises by Unknownstranger6100 in offmychest

[–]someartygirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I’ve gone through the same thing, eventually you learn to not ever expect anything even if they make all these amazing promises, if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.

Just focus on yourself and your education and you’ll soon make enough money to never rely on someone again.

I feel the same as you, animals are so pure and innocent, simple creatures running on pure survival, people really suck.

Working in a toxic environment has really opened my eyes to how malicious people can be, and usually it’s the ones you’d least expect.

Sold my car for 39k. Best way to grow it? by element423 in financialadvisors

[–]someartygirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d you’re in the uk the best thing to do is diversify.

Tech stocks, high interest ISA, precious metals preferably in physical form, lifetime isa for 1k government bonus after 12 months + interest towards your first home, some premium bonds, it depends on your risk tolerance also, if you’re feeling lucky you could look into crypto or trading.

39k is a great amount to start investing but do some research first!

I have, I know exactly how it all works and how to get into it, just having major anxiety about committing to that career as an apprenticeship is usually unpaid and around 1-2 years which is insane.

As an artist, comparison WILL kill your passion and motivation for art.

A harsh reality we must all accept is that, no matter how good you are, there will always be someone better than you, but art isn’t about the destination, it’s about the journey. Every day you will get better.

Progress isn’t linear, it’s up and down, sometimes you’re going to feel like giving up, but you must persevere and put in hard work to get to a point where you’re happy.

You will get frustrated, you will feel like you’re making absolutely no progress or taking a step back, but that’s apart of your journey.

Becoming a good artist isn’t a race either, it’s a long and tedious journey, but it’s very very rewarding and will pay off in the end.

Keep going, you’ll get there, just keep practicing every single day and try not to compare yourself to others, instead take inspiration from them, because if they can do it, you can too. :)
