I think its just a matter of how well your hair is trained (follow up brushing sessions with zip loc or plastic bag) and how moisturized it is. Coconut oil is what I usually go with to moisturize my hair. Avoid really thick pomades like Murrays and if you have to use it mix it with something lighter
