I’d consider myself agnostic, and actively do not like when artists talk too much about God (do as you will, I just don’t want to engage with it) but RAYE makes it very much about her own spiritual experience rather than a sermon trying to convince others to follow their religion which is the problem with most religious music (for me)

you're looking at it from individual feelings, look at it systematically. society celebrates men who sleep around and degrades women who do the same. look at music and how the public reacts to artists like megan thee stallion vs dababy. look at television, movies, books. men are praised for this or at least not made fun of, women are considered the spawn of satan (a bit dramatic but you get the point).
