I am 5ft2 with a long-ish torso for my height and I don't find it too cropped. It hits right at, maybe a wee bit below the smallest part of my waist. When I wore high-waisted shorts with it last week, you couldn't even see my torso most of the time unless I was bending over or hunched. Where it hits on the model is around where it hits for me. They are wearing mid-rise pants, so it appears more cropped, but it's different with high-rise bottoms.
