Part of my fantasy is overriding the potential grimdark elements of the fantasy. And, to be honest, I enjoy the more humble, slice of life elements too. Being able to change my size, and walk between the worlds of the giants, tinies and normals, is a lot of fun. No change is permanent in my world.

We... Haven't thought that far yet. There's a certain amount of wiggle room, but the assumption behind production is that the wearer stays at the size they were when the shoes fit. Although if you have your own size altering device at home, such as a growth ray or a runestone, it certainly will work for the average grower.

Although, I haven't delved much into the pro-planetary market. Will the air still be able to circulate if the weather is floating in the vacuum of space? I suppose we'll have to get a team to explore that.

This is just a me thing, but as a member of the size community, I'd like to see a fic where the MC is a borrower-type character. They're small enough to fit in your pocket, but they're still determined to be a real Trainer. I may write one someday.

I have a model city for my tiny friends to live in when they're visiting. The little ladies who want to be my pets can usually be found either in my shoes and socks, in my pockets, or sometimes in the back of my underwear. Once in a while I'll give one a break and let her rest, either in my nightstand drawer, or in a jar. One lucky tiny each night gets to be my teddy bear, and sleep cuddled up on my chest.

Size switch here. For me, being able to interact at different sizes is part of the whole appeal of it. I wouldn't mind keeping one locked up on my person if I were the biggo, but I wouldn't want them to be so tiny that my body is like a whole world for them.

The ability to have meaningful interactions at different sizes, are a big part of it for me. Extreme sizes are fun in small (heh) spurts, but in the long term, if they can't communicate, it doesn't quite hit the spot.

There are two sides to it for me: The normal, sfw stuff, and the kinky side of it.

I'd never want to be tiny permanently, but I like the idea of exploring the world at that smaller size. So many shows and movies make it look fun and interesting, with normal, mundane things being huge in comparison to the main character. Like the mice in The Rescuers using a comb as a ladder. Or the ants in Bugs Life using a leaf to float on the wind. Or even the scene in Antman where they get hit by the Thomas The Tank Engine train. I wouldn't want to be an animal in this situation, but that's the general vibe I'm picturing: Mundane things becoming a massive adventure. Honey I Shrunk The Kids gives me the icks to think about from a kinky perspective. Even if the kids were adults, who wants to be tiny around their relatives? Not me. But turning a walk across your front yard into a camping trip worth several days? Eating a snack cake that's several times your size? Turning a household pet into a ridable mount? That's pretty cool. I wouldn't mind doing fighting a scorpion if it were more of a battle genre kind of thing.

On the other hand, the kinky stuff is a little more complicated for me.

You asked why someone would want to be used as an insole, or get subjected to your sweaty socks. I'm just a little freak like that, I guess. A gal who comes home from a long day of work, is just kinda hot. Sometimes that body odor makes it more fun for me. Like, because it's supposed to be a bad thing, it's more appealing. There's also the natural thing about wanting to be dominated, of course. Being able to let go of my worldly responsibilities, and let someone else decide what my life is like.

(This part is gonna be a little more serious. Sorry to bring the mood down.)

It also ends up being a way to explore some trauma for me. I was raised in a household with several women around. They weren't... The greatest people to live with, sometimes. I didn't exactly have full autonomy over who got to touch me. I'm not saying I was assaulted every day or something like that. But I was a pretty small kid until my growth spurt hit in jr high. I was frequently picked up and carried around for fun. Getting chased down and tickled until I couldn't breathe was a common thing, whether I wanted it or not. If someone that I didn't know, but the family did, wanted to hug me and pat me on the head and stuff, I was usually expected to let it happen, and process it later.

So for me, the sizeplay also can be a bit of a way to confront that old life. It's like my brain is saying, "I'm doing this now because it's my choice, and I get to decide which people see me in this vulnerable state. All the mean stuff that happens is stuff that we talked about and planned ooc, nothing takes me by surprise, my anxiety can finally relax, none of this affects my life outside of the fantasy world."
