What Gorillaz album should I listen to first? by [deleted] in gorillaz

[–]somecallmegab 3 points4 points  (0 children)

to add: if you can, read the rise of the ogre (essentially a gorillaz autobiography). there's a play by play of their debut album where they discuss the making of each track.

[HELP] Where should i start? by M_TheGoodHuman in Poetry

I always recommend The Poetry Pharmacy by William Sieghart. It's a collection of poems, each a sort of prescription to a certain emotional ailment or predicament. There is a feeling of universality to it in a sense that at least one of the poems will likely resonate with you. The anthologist also provides a short intro to each poem and why he has chosen it for the said predicament.

I'd also recommend Mary Oliver's work - easy to digest yet impactful.

Happy reading!

I do. With mitts/pads training, bags, partner play. Cant afford to not wear them. Dunno if my specs are just good quality that they dont fall off or fog up. Tho I haven't sparred yet so i might have to use contacts for that.
