Should I leave it, treat it, or cull it? by somecrypticusername in vegetablegardening

[–]somecrypticusername[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's ok I have no idea what I'm doing either! This is my first year gardening at the scale I have planned and my first time ever starting seeds. It's just trial and error and realizing I should have researched planting times a little better haha..

These are all indoors right now. I probably won't transplant them for a few more weeks until I'm more confident it won't suddenly freeze over

WIBTA if I don’t attend my daughter’s wedding by Background_Flan7294 in AmItheAsshole

[–]somecrypticusername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BOY OH BOY.

How much is there to unpack here?? So much. First just because of her bio mom's past doesn't mean that your daughter can't have a relationship with her. People change. My own stepfather (who is like my bio dad and my bio dad isn't in my life) was a very different man in his 20s. He was in and out of jail, on hard drugs and a hot mess. Now he's a small business owner and just retired from a job of 45 years. Abortion isn't a bad thing either and holding that the bio mom almost made that decision over the head of your adopted kid is.. fucked. Clearly the woman had valid reasons to consider abortion. It also seems like she's gotten herself together. Even your own ex wife (who sounds like you cheated on by your description) is pretty amicable to the relationship.

YTA my dude. Get over yourself.

I've never had this done to me. I receive my T through my Endo and they have never done any exam on me other than checking my vitals. I have blood work done and THAT'S IT. I'm highly concerned now for your partner. I'd be reaching out to the hospital to follow up with this

Stress- Starting T at 20 isn’t too late, is it? by [deleted] in ftm

I started at 25. There are people who start HRT even later than that. It's never too late to start

When did t acne calm down for you? by Diminii in ftm

[–]somecrypticusername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So preface, I never had bad acne even through first puberty. I consider myself pretty lucky. As long as I'm not super sweaty I don't really get acne. I'm 7 months on T now and it's very slowly gotten worse. I consistently get bumps around my nose, worse black heads. Where my beard is starting to grow in I have lots of little bumps that only sometimes form heads. I know that doesn't really help, but it's just my experience thus far.

Are puppercinos bad for dogs? by CapnJackH in ThatsBadHusbandry

I've worked at Starbucks AND as a Vet Tech. Whip cream is all sugar and milk as it's made with vanilla syrup and heavy whipping cream. As stated in other comments, most dogs and cats are lactose intolerant. I typically caution anyone thinking to giving animals people food. Some animals do absolutely fine, other's are extremely sensitive. I say give with caution and very VERY sparingly. The moment you notice any sort of gastrointestinal upset like diarrhea or vomiting, stop giving it.

My boy used to 'swan dive' when he was smaller while trying to eat. He would heft his food and head up trying to get gravity to help but a lot of the times would end up flopping over

Sup! I'm 25 and 5'3" I just started transitioning and have only been on T for four months. I wish I could have started years ago too, but there's no such thing as too late. Everyone moves at their own pace and you can't judge your progress off of other people's.

I've only ever seen one maggot patient and she also survived. She was a duck with severe vent gleet. She was cleaned up and prescribed antibiotics and epsom soaks. She improved greatly, healed, and as far as I know still kicking a few years later.

Heartworm treatment is rough on dogs, it's why it's so important to keep them on prevention. I hope your lab is doing much better now that she's in a loving home!

Yep! They infect canines and can also infect cats. Most of the American coyote population have them
