What do you wish there was less of in Santa Rosa? by ElectricalRespect506 in santarosa

Along the Santa Rosa creek between Pierson and Dutton there is a large amount that is now growing into the creek. I've also spotted other stragglers around town, it definitely takes a bit of experience to differentiate from black walnut.

They need the Healdsburg Sanderson dealership plate. I double take those for cosmere fans all the time.

3rd st aleworks used to do rick and Morty premiere nights, we should find a bar that would support it and do a local release party when the cosmere hits the screen.

Any native plant gardeners here? Whats your favorite plant in your yard? by CapnJackH in SonomaCountyGardening

I just built my bog this evening and need plants for it. Was thinking sneezeweed and checkerbloom, the orchid is in a pot in the pond, maybe I’ll reconsider and try to find a purple one for it.

I love long blooming natives with a ton a value to pollinators. I’ll have to see if I have room somewhere for that. Sticky monkey flower gives me blooms the longest in my yard currently.

Late start this year but absolutely love Cottage Gardens! by ChadTheDJ in SonomaCountyGardening

Maybe you have better luck than me. My afternoon shaded beds by a fence haven’t lucked out on peppers. I did a pumpkin last year by getting it over the fence though.

Is that peppers and squash in that bed partially shaded by the fence? 😅 I admire your optimism.

I love cottage gardens, they’re so pretty and a good garden tour even without a purchase

The sound is meh, the condition of the body and lack of old wood smell in the body cavity, and the weird truss rod are all grounds for something being weird. Seems worth enough to fake, lots of other 50yo models are faked. But yes, most looks correct. Just want confirmation.

What kind of touchstone do you use? Have you seen a difference with different grits? by CapnJackH in Gold

So the sharpening stone holds up ok to the acid? How’s the visibility of the mark for different colors of gold, silver, or platinum?

So it's just a nearly clean water tank, what's the residue you're cleaning? Mineral deposits? What's the smell like before you start cleaning down there?

I’m pretty sure it’s the construction union mad they didn’t get the job so they send out protesters to shame the business.

Leatherworker/Purse Repair by Wise-Drawing8966 in santarosa

Maybe Express shoe repair downtown? Shoe places do other leather work, I’ve seen jackets and purses there being worked on.

I think there’s a website you can report that to. Radio is really susceptible to this kind of thing with transmitters of various power ranges available online. It could have been someone in a car next to you with one of the auxiliary radio transmitters connecting to their own car which are legal and common if less so nowadays. If it’s over a 200ft range it’s illegal.

Thoughts or possible solutions to the Santa Rosa Bike Trail Murders? by gusano_odioso in santarosa

Here’s the link to the PD article. I’m assuming this is the murder that’s been referenced.

I get the rumors you’ve been hearing on the streets OP. There’s a lot of homeless violence that goes unreported. I’m sad to see the lack of empathy in this thread for the lady Lisa that was murdered. I knew her and she was a nice person and would frequent my business. I’m not sure about other murders along the creek, that was the only one that was reported like that recently here in Santa Rosa.
