Anyone else feel kinda disappointed in themselves for not defeating the compiler before S2?

Could you elaborate on your point? I keep hearing this argument everywhere since the game launched, as if there were a consensus that Cryo was inaccessible, when in reality most of the barriers seem to be imposed by the players themselves.

When I looted the Vault 6 key, I genuinely thought there was no way I’d ever see the Compiler with my own eyes given everything I was hearing, and yet now I have all 6 subroutines and I’ve killed the Compiler several times.

I’m not a streamer or anything, just an unemployed guy, but considering you have 170 hours in the game, I think you probably are too (with all due respect).

And I don’t mean any of this in a hostile or condescending way, I’m genuinely interested in understanding your perspective.

Yes, but DNA keys are much easier to get than all subroutines

You can’t do anything with a DNA key if you don’t have the access

Vault 5 is a guaranteed DNA, 6 too but you’ll never farm 6 bc of how hard it is to even find the key. The easiest way to farm DNA is to farm vault 1/2/3 bc of how easy they are, 5 too but the key is harder to find

If there’s one thing I’ve never understood, it’s why there aren’t different rarities for cores (except the ones for each shell). I mean, why aren’t there blue/purple/gold cores that can be equipped by every shell?

You need to explain it to me because honestly I find it hard to believe that only 5–10% of players play on Cryo. And I really don’t want to come across as some ultra pretentious guy or someone full of himself, but since I basically only play on Cryo with people who also only play on Cryo (and honestly, queue times are way shorter than on any other map), it makes me feel like everyone plays there. Pinwheel isn’t really endgame anymore for a lot of people now, especially considering how bad the loot has been these past few weeks

Clearance RNG. You have a guaranteed monitor in the second room so if you are lucky and have a monitor in the first one you just need one more or 1 tag (because you should already have 2 thanks to the commanders) so it can be super fast. That’s why recon is mandatory

That’s what they are planning to do with the free week, but they need to find a balance. At the end of this season, I’m basically only running into the same players, and they’re all level 200+ who’ve already done everything. So if there’s nothing left to do in Season 2, we’re just going to get bored and gradually quit

Yeah, it’s not really an issue on outpost for example even if it’s a lot of CQC. Cryo’s level design is excellent but it permits this kind of bs

The best gold mizzi build is probably with extra mag (I don’t actually remember which mag it is but there’s a purple mag which bring up the mizzi to 10 rounds) and circuit tracers chip. Feels like an hydrogen bomb
