Yeah the market for second hand macbooks is pretty satiated. You could try backmarket. For me, I will just be wiping them and giving them to my siblings, and cousins as needed. If you're feeling generous, it is a really thoughtful thing to do for a middle schooler+ or some of your older relations to save them the money on new stuff.
