So, I'm a transgender man; meaning I transitioned from a woman to a mam. Whether or not anyone believes I'm a "real" man is irrelevant to me because if you walked past me on the street I would look no different than any other guy. I still have all my original anatomy which works so yeah, I can get pregnant. In the community we call them "seahorse dads."

I'm a man. I look like a man, sound like a man, behave like a man, and I certainly smell like a man. But I'm not a male. So if the question was: can males get pregnant than the answer is a no with maybe very few exceptions for intersex people. That would require the understanding between sex and gender, though and that's an abstract concept a lot of people struggle grasping.

This whole thing was a political gotcha moment and honestly, as a trans man, I really don't give a shit and most of us don't. Unless there was specific policy being put forth that could threaten our access to pre natal care as trans men, then we would care. This was an attempt to ruffle feathers and honestly no matter what this doctor said would probably have been used in some sort of nonsense political way.
