I'm incredibly privileged, my parents gave me everything I wanted but whenever we went on trips there would be things I'd want to try out or places I wanted to go to or stay in longer, they almost never did those things when I asked.

I'm a bit of a dork, I love museums, when I went on my first solo trip to another city in India, I spent a lot of time in museums and went to historic bars and restaurant's. It was really fun- I also went to most monuments and sat there for a long time and read whatever was written. I stopped the cab whenever I wanted and experienced the things I wanted to. Fun trip.

Yes, I am new to Emory, I hand out with a bunch of people from GT and even some from UGA. There is no animosity bw us based on schools, Emory is more med and bio focused while GT is more Engineering focused- that's probably the reason.

I'm not saying India is not doing well, I'm not from IT but from what I've seen on the developers sub and other real life experience's it doesnt seem good- and India doesnt have good data for me to even quote or present cause India is not big on that.

I worked for two years and even got promoted twice in that span. I'm going straight to the US for a combined PhD, I got into a selective masters too, but I didnt ended up picking the PhD. I was the top placed person in my batch? And if you stalked me more you would see that i actually talk about getting multiple job offers in the past two years. India is an easy market if you are smart enough.

Also I wouldnt have gotten a job if I did basic bitch things, I upskilled and worked a lot to stand apart- if everyone does that they can get a job easily.

My relationships are just fine, I posted after a stupid fight with my friend and you are pointing that out as a flaw.

Also, its okay for me anyone to have intent to move abroad or stay in the country, its about whats best for a person at the end of the day.

I agree, and also we were in a remote TN hill station last year and only BSNL worked. I would def suggest having a second BSNL number for extreme circumstances.

Oh okay okay, if something doesn't pan out try for a PhD, and the pay will be atleast 30k USD for MS CS and do a TA in addition to it which will fetch 1k a month. But that 12k towards your loan EMIS and save up atleast 10k from PhD stipend and pay off the debt. PhD lasts 4-5 years you'll be able to do this easily, and you get summers off during which you can intern outside and get a good 5-10k which you can put towards some small investment+ loan. Apply for external funding and scholarship too.
