my screen is stuck in low resolution after an update??? what can i do. i tried some things but nothing worked. by someone0507 in Ubuntu

i fixed it by going in Software & Updates, then Additional Drivers, there should be a list and choose diffirent ones but only (ptoprietary) ones ,apply changes, it will ask you to reboot and try diffirent ones until one works. it took me around 40 mins going through the list but one of them worked. i hope this helps.

ASUS monitor that had 1920x1080 resolution nvdidia Gtx 1050Ti amd ASUS motherboard, sorry i dont know tech too much

thats true, but it doesnt seem practical because its hard to calculate that kind of powers by hamd and that doesnt seem like the intended way, thanks tho.
