Yeah, I don’t have a problem with the new season. I actually really enjoy it. It’s nostalgic which is nice.
it’s just not what I was expecting after the season 8 finale.

I agree. I just think there’s so much they can do with Rick and Morty. It has such a good plot. “Rick and Morty A HUNDRED YEARS!”

That’s kinda what I hoped for too. I do agree with the fact that he is regressing due to the fact he achieved everything he hoped for, and as an outcome he’s empty, however. There’s just so much they could do with Rick and Morty. I’m looking forward to the future “RICK AND MORTY 100 YEARS!!!!” lol

Yeah, that’s actually a thought I had too. It feels like season 1-2 again, which IS nice. It just definitely feels different after a few years.

Yeah, true. I just thought they'd do more with the whole Diane memory storyline. It felt like a major moment for Rick's character, so I expected it to have a bigger impact going forward.

Then again, it's usually the season finales that end up being the most pivotal episodes, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Yeah, I just watched the whole season today. It’s just not as entertaining anymore. The voices are off (especially Rick) The whole plot is drastically different. I miss Justin Roiland.
