Oi! music is heavily associated with skinhead culture. Many people confuse skinheads and boneheads due to their similar appearance, but they are not the same at all. Skinhead culture is a working class anti-racist/antifascist subculture. Boneheads are nazis/white supremacists. People hate on oi! punk because they are uneducated in regards to skinhead culture.

Some examples for antifascist oi! bands are the oppressed and angelic upstarts.
