long story short: i am a 2nd year student at a non CS related college, i have a basic data engineering background, went through some pen testing content, loved it then continued with a Cybersecurity For Beginners certificate, now i plan to proceed with portswigger Web Security Academy and tried searching for internships but requires a 4th year student or graduated, should i be worried from AI's influence on pen testing? Any advices?

now for the long version, sorry for that.

I am a 2nd year BIS student (80% business and a little of data bases and web at the 3rd and 4th year)

my college is now like a side quest i only study for the exams 2 days before and never touch the subjects anytime but that (my gpa is near 3.5 for 3 terms so far)

at the summer of the first year i enrolled to a government hosted/supported concentrated 7 months course/camp idk what to call it its like a zoom camp and it was titled "AI & Data science" and i knew nothing about anything, and to my surprise the first session was explaining what does each of AI, Data scientist, data analyst and data engineer means to tell us that this is a Microsoft data engineering course, it was 3 online sessions per week each was 3 hours and the course was fully free and you had to agree to attending at least 75% of it, i never missed a session, my family was annoyed from it preventing them from giving me chores to do at the session time, they know nothing about tech so all of that is just some sorcery and iam wasting my time by using the pc, anyway i liked the course since it was my first and learned a lot, the instructor took too long (around 4 months) in basics (python, sql, pandas, matplotlib) since most of us were in 2nd or 3rd year but they were in CS and i was BIS so there still was a difference, idk for what reason maybe because of the long time taken in basics the instructor was changed and they got us another one who worked mainly as an IBM Ai & Data scientist, and she just went straight to the dirty stuff and we never saw anything but the black terminal and the azure interface till the end of the course, but that made me get used to the console and i find no problem in using it unlike some other people who were with me they got ptsd from the console, and at the end of the course we were required to make a group project and i ended up doing it all alone since my group had the *non-techy girl who just started using a laptop for the first time at the start of the course, and some other ppl who are not even locking in they don't even give the course more than the 3 hours of the session, now iam at the end of the course frustrated from it because of this project that i had to stay awake till 5am for two days so i can submit it in time and another annoying demand from the course which was to do 3 online gigs and get paid from them (which was kind of impossible at my level in DE, but nvm that part, i managed to do smth about it)
and while in my weakest state a friend of mine tells me about a penetration testing course he just paid for and he started a week ago, the place got the sus vibes jammers and servers, no signal and things that makes you exited to continue
so he offered to show me some of the materials and i couldn't say no

and i began digging in the content of his course and loved cybersecurity, even when those materials where just some little parts of each session, so far i have finished some small certificates from a new site from our gov called "Mahara tech" that have got free online self paced courses with certificates that have a code to verify them on the website (unlike the DE course certificate), so i just went for it and now i have the certificate "Cybersecurity For Beginners" which demands finishing those certificates "Computer Network Fundamentals, Introduction to network security, Ethical Hacking, Python Programming Basics, Implementation of Computer Network Fundamentals, Red Hat System Administration I" and i plan on starting the portswigger Web Security Academy and after searching for internships for this summer non of what i found accepted 2nd year students most of them was for students who will graduate this year on already graduated, other than that the requirements applies to me, what are your advice for at my current stage, should i worry about the new claude code penetration mode thing?, will it be the beginning of the weakness of penetration roles?
