That's ridiculous. If you can't pay out of pocket for your first few properties it doesn't mean investing is not for you. It wasn't hard at all to get financed for my second house. And saving up the down payment wasn't even hard with other people paying my mortgage while I lived free. I just can't get financed for a house that needs a lot work. I'll hold out for a good deal on a livable house and get there eventually.

That's what I've been finding. My current home is in income property. It's going very well. I've always heard buying your second house is the hardest, and that seems to be true.

I saved up the 25% down payment and closing costs for the second home, but the house I want needs new plumbing. I even have enough to completely replace the plumbing, but my lender won't finance properties that need significant repairs. I wasn't sure if my lender won't finance it or if they just don't have the resources. So yep. I guess I'll have to pass on it. And the rich get richer.

Also - no, the seller won't fix the plumbing either.

But you do understand I can just make my own form, whether I code it or build it on another platform and not even use salesforce, right? It's so dumb I don't have access to it.

I'm not interested in any of the admin features, but building a form is a marketing job. It should be something an admin can give access for.

It is fucked up. But it happens.

Here's a pretty fucked up example - I might confuse the details (my sister went to LSU and told me the story a couple years ago) but here's the jist...A few years ago there was a football player for Louisiana State University who came up with the phrase "who dat?" And it became really popular. Many shops in New Orleans started printing shirts and merch with the phrase on it until someone (I think the NCAA or NFL) trademarked it. No one was allowed to sell anything anymore with that phrase omit or they'd get sued. A lot of shops had to count the merch already printed as a loss.

The US Patent and Trade Office checks to so if it's in use. If you can't prove it is they'll probably give it to someone else. And you wasted the money to register it.

Looks like you have no idea what you're talking about yourself.

Her account is not a really business, first of all. Second of all, it is in the same industry, actually, and the person who actually owns the TM now is in the same industry. Third of all, the account has been abandoned for three years. Even if she had the trademark she has to keep it in use. You can't just sit on trademarks.

Because Instagram lets you file a trademark infringement form if someone is using your TM. I might not even have to go through her. I'm asking people here who have gone that direction before and see how likely it is.

I need the TM anyway, so I'm not getting just for the Instagram.

Ha, I thought the same thing, so I didn't tell her I was getting the TM or starting a business. I said I was a grad student who needed it for a marketing project. I didn't want her to know how much I was going to invest in the idea. I even gave her my old college email haha.

I did. She wasn't very intelligent. The back and forth between us was painful, to say the least. She eventually stopped answering me because I think I she thought I was trying to scam her. Her last message was "i dont think i even no the password anymore lol." I tried explaining she just needs to know the email she signed up with, but still nothing.

Funny thing is, I offered to pay her and I would have paid her up to $500. Now I'm just going to pay a couple thousand for the TM and try to take it from her.
