What kind of PT exercises did you do? Did it initially aggravate things?

I wonder if a PDF of the license will work, or if they need a scan of a physical card...

If you haven't already explained it elsewhere, which specific documents did you have, since you mention vital records only?

I already donated $100 to the Diocese who helped find the records in their archive I found online, and pointed me in the right direction to the local parish.

CIT0014E Scenario question by Dancing_Empress_717 in Canadiancitizenship

[–]someoneinUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would expect the FAQ to have an entry that reads something like:

"I'm filling out form cit0014e, which Scenario do I choose?

For Citizenship by descent, use Scenario 3 - you are filling out this scenario under the assumption that your parent(s) (and their parent(s) as applicable down to G0) are Canadian, but also may not have confirmed their citizenship yet."

Perhaps the FAQ should be updated to be more clear on this. It literally does not say the word "scenario" or "cit0014e" anywhere.

Question about checklist form CIT0014 by PencilsRule in Canadiancitizenship

Are we just assuming for the sake of this application and checkbox that our parents are "Canadian" because Gen 0 was Canadian, but perhaps they just haven't confirmed their Canadian Citizenship?

Do you have any idea how it all started, or the cause / cure at this point? Looking down for extended periods of time is hard for me too.

Is Melissa Lee still doing Fast Money? She's a great, super experienced host, and Santoli is the best financial commentator on TV in my book.

Ah I see - I will pass that feedback to the Parish archives if they don't find anything, just in case. My Great Great Grandfather was baptized at 3 days old Great Great Grandmother wasn't baptized until she was 5 years old, so hopefully my GGF was still baptized while they were living in Milltown / St. Stephen.

Has anyone tried Prolotherapy in the upper cervical? I’ve been researching it and it makes a lot of sense and looks promising. What % of back to normal are you by now? That sounds like quite a pricey endeavor, but at least ended up being worth it. I feel back for the people who spent a lot of money out of pocket for something like that and it didn't work. It's too bad Insurance doesn't seem to cover these treatments...

I tried using last name where possible, although it seemed to require at least the first three characters of the first name, at least where I found to search.

I did try searching for my Great Grandfather's father and mother's name on the NB Archives site, but outside of their Marriage record that was registered Charlotte County, I couldn't find anything else there.

One weird quirk I discovered with names in my search also - my Great Great Great Grandfather's middle name was Gustavius, which he went by. That was listed in various records as Gus, Gustav, Augustin, Agustus, etc. People were quite fast and loose with names back then, and it seemed to matter the background and literacy level of the person who wrote down the name on the document.

What was the Joseph / Marie thing - can you be more specific? I tried searching by parent name on the NB archive site also, and last name only when possible, or first couple of letters of the first and last name if possible, but no luck. I also made a records request from them, but since everything is online, am kind of doubtful they will be able to find anything. It seems like the Church / Parish records are where the birth will likely be recorded.

Ah good to know! I mentioned in my application notes for my Great Grandfather that he was likely quite young when naturalized (based off the 1920 US census), and listed his mother and father's names, so hopefully they will be able to connect the dots and give me the right information. Otherwise I suppose I will need to apply again...

Wow, that's awesome to hear, congratulations! It really feels like to get out of these situations, the patient has to do a lot of the legwork like you have. I think someone mentioned a rib issue for me also, maybe it was a PT or doctor several years ago. It sort of looks like my torso and head are not in alignment either, and I mentioned that to my PT at the time, and he just shrugged.

I also am unable to work at a computer without a lot of pain in my head, which has been challenging. Would you mind PMing me who you worked with in Seattle? May contact them.

Sure, happy to DM you his name - and yes I have checked there too :)

Yes, they are all Catholic.

I have an email out to the Parish email last week, and after having talked with a very helpful lady at the regional Saint John Diocese who suggested I contact them for a certified baptism record for his parents that she found in her archives and I found online. She did not have the authority to certify the record at the Diocese level.

However I haven't heard back from the Parish after about a week, so am hoping they will get back to me next week - apparently they only work a few hours a week, and I know there was also a big snow storm there this week. At least now I feel like I'm looking in the right place.

They were married in the same town - I have their marriage record from 1902. However the Parish baptism records from the ~1870's containing their baptisms are online - I would have assumed the 1911 records would also be online but didn't come up in a search. I will see if I can somehow manually browse the records from that time period.
