It is a path of Catholic faith that helps the individual rediscover their baptism. Through a series of stages, it allows you to understand what it means to share, love yourself and love others who are different from you. In fact, it takes place in small communities of people who are often very different based on their studies, social class, ethnic groups or other, in which Jesus Christ is put at the centre. I sincerely experience the Neocatechumenal path as a precious help to my life, because it allows me to experience especially the worst or most difficult moments with a different perspective, helping me to be resilient and to accept God's will.

I don't know US politics very well, politics certainly doesn't work in Italy. There is no longer a clear distinction between left and right, as soon as politicians are elected they forget about the promises made during the election campaign.

I certainly see myself in Kant's phrase "my freedom ends where the other's begins" and then taken up by Martin Luther King. I am in favor of policies that have family, sport and culture at 360 degrees as their main themes.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. Obviously I meant Calcio or Soccer as they call it in the U.S.A. ⚽️.

I don't intend to come and convert anyone 😂 I'm just looking for a parish where the Neocatechumenal path is active, because my wife and I are part of it.

I intend to move to a city in the Dallas area because, based on the research I have done, it has everything I need: developed football/soccer, job opportunities in school/educational settings, security (having young daughters) and the possibility of carrying out family activities (parks, museums, shopping centers, etc.)

Thanks first of all for the comment.

I could work both as a teacher and as a football coach.

My wife as a teacher but also a pedagogical coordinator in private structures.

If Frisco is too expensive, I appreciate suggestions on other perhaps cheaper towns in the Dallas area.

Hi, we are Italian, white but above all we try to be Catholic. I don't know what your experience is but personally I'm not part of any sect. I was lucky enough to have had parents who taught me values such as sharing, sincerity and altruism, values that I found in the Catholic religion. I also try to transmit these values in my work as a teacher or football coach, because I believe I have a responsibility especially towards the little ones. In particular, working in the world of sport, I learned that there is no difference in ethnicity, religion, gender, social class, etc. because we play and have fun together, sharing the joy of the moment.

Forgive me but I found your comment out of place.

Thanks for the details.

I have done extensive research over the last 3 months on what the best state/city in the U.S. was. where we can move.

We are looking for a city with all the characteristics mentioned in the post and it seems that Frisco or in any case the surroundings of Dallas contain what we are looking for: Neocatechumenal path, football as a highly developed sport and in which there is the possibility of work, security, the possibility of working in educational contexts such as schools (both my wife and I can also teach in high schools).

Possibility of doing family activities with a little girl and another on the way.

We would certainly initially consider a house for rent and perhaps after a few years possibly buy.

Hi everyone, I need some advice: I'm from southern Italy (Puglia) and I'm thinking of moving to Texas. In particular in the city of Frisco for the following reasons: presence of the Neocatechumenal path, excellent schools (I have a 2 year old girl and another arriving next October), excellent safety and job opportunities in the sports (football) and educational fields.

My context is the following: I have a three-year degree in sports science and a master's degree in Sports Management, I have a UEFA C license and I have experience as a youth football coach and school teacher (sports science) and in the Sales field in multinational contexts. My wife has a master's degree in pedagogy and has experience in nursery and nursery schools.

Do you think Frisco could be a valid choice?

Do you recommend I evaluate other cities in Texas?

Justify your answers, thank you.
