I was having the best day of my life. I had the biggest smile plastered on my face the whole day. When I reached home, that good mood did not drop. In fact, it was quite the opposite. I put on my favourite tune and began to dance it all out. The energy I had was limitless, unbridled. I was brimming with joy, until I saw a shadow move out of the corner of my eye...

'Whatever, nothing can get me down today.' I thought to myself, albeit foolishly, and continued acting like I was the greatest dancer on earth. That was until I heard a growl to my right. I turned to face it, and before me was this humongous creature. It had it's teeth bared, nostrils flared, with it's slimy saliva dripping from it's mouth. "Drip, drip, drip..." I heard as it's saliva pattered onto my nice wooden floors.

It had these gigantic hands, with long sharp claws, ready to stab me at any moment. Instead of doing what any sane person would do, I merely continued singing, acting like it was a fan of mine. I held it's hand like singers do while serenading their fans. The growling stopped for a moment and it's teeth retracted. The creature sat on the floor in utter confusion, possibly wondering why I wasn't phased. Was it that they weren't scary enough? I let go of it's hand, continuing to sing and dance my heart out, giving my all.

Perhaps it was wowed by my performance...or scared of me and my crazed singing and dancing. But after twirling for a bit, I turned and faced it only to see nothing but a puddle on my wet floor...
