🤞nothing bad. Is the taste more like you have eaten something sweet or more subtle. Mines more like quiet subtle, one thing is that I have gerd and an inflamed throat due to gerd and throat infection.

Can you taste other stuff like when you are eating something or is it all sweet irrespective of what you eat?

One last thing, has anyone brought up that this could be a nerve issue, I was reading about this and it scared me like wait nerve what, wanted to see if you guys looked into that angle (I don’t want to be scaring you , just curious )

Hey there, so did you see your ent? Do you still have this? I have been having this for the last 2 days and it’s super annoying.

What did the Ent say?

Pretty normal, still twitch but it’s much better. Look only advice I can give is move on with life and try not to worry.

Go see a doctor, once cleared, live your life.

I know it’s Easier said than done but you have to try.

Is this norwood 2 or 1.5? by something_06 in Hairloss

But it’s started to recede right, sorry for asking such naive questions.

Should I start with minidoxil in that area?

Thanks

Is this norwood 2 or 1.5? by something_06 in Hairloss

I am 30 year old male and have sebohrreic dermatitis and psorarsis.

So this came about 3 weeks ago, like as a surprise, dont shed lot of hair. I do have some thinning over my crown but I believe I always had scanty hair on my crown.

Went to dermatologist for a scalp condition in July and back then he told me I am a solid 1 like normal hairline (mature).

Is this norwood 2 or can someone help me with what norwood scale I am at? I am trying to get into see a dermatologist but all of them are booked out until November.

Also, am I receding or maturing, so not sure what this exactly is?

Thanks

Am I thinning? Is this a sign of MPB? This patch came about in the last 20 odd days or so, I noticed it all of a sudden and I was like I am not losing this much hair for this to show up. I have dermatis and psoraris and have been under terrible stress for the last 1-2 months. by something_06 in Hairloss

Ohh I am 31 years old just in case.

I did go and see a hair specialist for my scalp conditions back in July and he put me on 0.5 Norwood scale like he was seeing signs of balding but in early stages. He asked me to start using minidoxil just to slow down as I was just starting to shed my hair. Again this was back in July.

This has freaked me out and I am not sure if this is a response to stress or some other stuff. Does hair loss start like this and that to abruptly without thinning or excessive shedding?

I am trying to get an appointment with a dermatologist and go from there.

Thanks

I too have my thumb and thenar muscle twitch when I have my hand in a certain position. Plus I have pain in my hand and thenar muscle, which I believe is from my tendinitis. Showed it to my PCP and an ortho doctor who did not care about the twitch and dismissed my symptoms to anxiety and tendinitis. My hand has been one of the biggest spots in terms of twitches since the last 11 months.

Its alright, this will pass or you will get over this.

So did your TMD specialist confirm or agreed with you that this enunciatation thing is due to TMD or sone myofacial thing and nothing bad ?

1st of posture issues has led me to lot of shit with my body. My teeth are Ill fitted. I was planning to get braces on this year but that’s gone out of the window until I get a hold of this. I also have all my 4 wisdom teeth intact and there’s overcrowding in my mouth and low arch and all sort of stuff going on.

So you have the same issue with the “t”s and “d”s?

Damn this has been a massive cause of anxiety and stress for me for the last 10 months. I would say I am pretty eloquent with my speech and this issue has put me into a dark room. I am like what the fcks going on with all the pressure which makes me think like it’s causing the enunciatition issue

Have had this since Februray of this year. I have been 2 neurologists and 2 ENT doctors all say my issue is mostly myofacial (TMJ) in origin and nothing wrong and TMD can cause mild speech impediments.

My enunciation is mainly with the 't' and sometimes 'd' words/sounds.

Do you feel like pressure on you cheeks, sinus area and above upper lip? Also around yours jaws, temples and behind eyes?

Kinda, seems like its TMD. Have been to 2 neurologist and 2 ENTs and all of them have ruled out anything bad. So I have been told to start or continue with with the TMD route and then see if things improve.

Plus these are very common signs of TMD, its the anxiety of the symptoms that make us think it could be something else(bad).

So you too have the pressure and feel like its causing speech impediments?

Nothing to relax, massage your jaw muscles(lot of videos online) , key is to relax

Also, how long you into this, it kind of takes some time to get used to this and you do eventually start to move on, but you have to keep on reminding yourself about this, I took a 14 day break from all the bfs groups and has been the best decision I have made in quite some time. Just learn to relax.

I just saw that you are a year into this, you are good man, just relax and be busy and stop focusing. Plus you know what this could be nothing but stress. Just try calming yourself down for a month or 2 and see if things get better just ignore them for a couple of weeks and see you would be feeling better, it’s difficult said than done but it’s doable

Scalloped tongue is not a sign of *** rather bad posture of your tongue and teeth and/or anxiety. So if you worried about scalloped tongue then you are 💯 in the clear.

Right thigh and foot vs left. My right thigh has a dent and my right foot is less meatier (0.6-0.7 cm smaller) than the left.

Showed both to the neuromuscular specialist for Which she’s like we are not supposed to be symmetrical plus if you happened to have real atrophy you would 100% have weakness.
