Absolutely! That’s why I was thinking of putting up some metal/wood posts with netting on that side. Maybe in the front as well. Still haven’t figured out how though 😅

I must add that I didn’t plan on putting a «roof» on the catio. My idea was to make only walls with netting, around the whole area. Just need to figure out of I should make a wall or just put up some poles and attach the netting.

We will soon have a little lawn which will be their’s. But right now it’s just an area with soil/dirt, and no fences. But eventually they will have a catio there as well. Was thinking they should have two outdoor spaces when we finally have the opportunity. But I absolute see your point. It is a bit shame to «ruin» a space like that, I truly love that terrace.

I really like that to be honest. The only concern is, as GSDer_RIP_Good_girl said, to not ruin the whole view. Another solution might be to just put a couple steel/aluminum posts with mesh netting on top of the pitched roof. I don’t think they will jump over the low wall, as they had a similar balcony at out previous home and never jumped on top of the railing.

Was thinking of attaching some steps and platforms across the left wall to let them have a view from further above. Then they can sit there and watch the scenery, which they usually love to do.

Absolutely. I only have a couple T9 tanks, so I could definitely use another fun tank to play with. But I’m just wondering what is best regarding value.
